Training Runs

The Four Masters Cycling club leave from Aura Leisure Centre in Letterkenny every Sunday morning at 9.00am sharp.

To take part in Four Masters CC club training runs you must be a paid up member of Cycling Ireland for insurance reasons.

Each week we will try and have a planned route, and we will also do a short report on the weeks training run. As there may be two groups there may be two different routes, but the route which will be posted will be the general route, and the racing members of the club may take a different course.

Please feel free to come along and join in with us on any of these training runs. All you require is a well maintained bike, a helmet, water and some food. A €2 sign on fee is collected to help with support vehicle running costs. During the winter period we ask everyone to have at least a rear mudguard fitted in consideration of other members in the group.

From time to time Sunday training may be cancelled if members are attending other events such as touring runs by other local clubs etc. In such cases there will be a notice posted on this site, on facebook or a club text may be sent.

For more information our our club training runs you may contact Troy Hegarty, who's details can be found on the About 4M page.

For the summer months commencing in April, there will be a club spin leaving Castle Cycles, Raphoe, at 6.15pm approx., this will be approximately a 2 hour spin. As with sunday spin, a helmet, a well maintained bike, water and some food are required. Contact Castle Cycles or check 4M facebook page for more details.
